Oceano Community Services District Receives Grant Funding

The Oceano Community Services District is a disadvantaged community serving a population of 7,500. While our special district is small, we are mighty, with a deeply rooted passion for the health and safety of the community we serve.

Our most recent successful undertaking was several years in the making. After three years of reapplying, the District was awarded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding from the County of San Luis Obispo. These funds were used to rehabilitate our 300,00-gallon water tank in desperate need. We are proud of our persistence and dedication to being able to fully rehabilitate and upgrade the tank, which serves our community.
