CRWA Apprenticeship Track Now Open for Enrollment

The California Rural Water Association (CRWA) has officially launched its new Water and Wastewater Apprenticeship Track—and it’s not too late to join!

This two-year, earn-while-you-learn program combines 4,000 hours of on-the-job training with 307 hours of technical instruction to prepare apprentices for state certification exams and long-term careers in the water industry.

Apprentices gain hands-on experience, earn certifications, and receive structured mentorship while working with local utilities. Both water and wastewater tracks are available, and prior experience may count toward required hours.

The new cohort began October 14, 2025, but CRWA is still accepting applicants.

Whether you’re new to the field or looking to advance, CRWA’s Apprenticeship Program offers the training, mentorship, and career path you’ve been waiting for. Apply today at https://calruralwater.org/apprenticeship/.
