The course:
This course explores the problems with contaminants of emerging concern toxicity, the source of these contaminants, and the treatment modalities that are used to remove them from wastewater effluents.

The learning objectives:

At the end of the course, you should be able to:

  • Explain the reason that contaminants of emerging concern are a concern
  • Describe the sources of contaminants of emerging concern in the environment and wastewater influents
  • Identify contaminants of emerging concern in wastewater influents and effluents
  • Describe the methods that are used to treat contaminants of emerging concern in wastewater treatment plants

  • All registrants who have registered and paid for the class will receive their certificates within two weeks of the class date.
  • Cancellations must be received by CRWA in writing five business days prior to the event to qualify for a refund.
  • Cancellations received within this time frame, will be subject to a refund less a $25 processing fee.
  • All class transfer requests must be received five business days prior to class and are subject to CRWA approval. Transfers will only be valid within the same calendar year.
