Information about this course:

This course will cover both class A & B sampling procedures. The emphasis will be on appropriate sampling procedures as well as record-keeping and reporting. The Workshop/Training will also cover the following objectives:
• Personal Hygiene & Proper Hand Sanitation • Proper Sampling Technique & Sampling Plans • Basic Microbiology • Bacteriological Sample-Site Plan System Map • Outline what is Revised Total Coliform Rule • Bring your own Sampling Plan Water Conservation and Shortage Contingency Planning • New Requirements in SB552 for small water systems and counties for water shortage contingency planning • Financial and technical assistance programs • Do you have one? • How to complete a WSCDWCP… Water Shortage Contingency Drought/Water Conservation Plan
Purpose of SB552 for Small Water Systems • The Legislative requirements serve as a starting point for drought and shortage planning • Improve small water system preparedness in addressing shortage/drought conditions • Consider locally relevant conditions

Schedule: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (Lunch on your own 12:30 pm – 1:00 pm)

  • Cancellations must be received by CRWA in writing five business days prior to the event to qualify for a refund.
  • Cancellations received within this time frame, will be subject to a refund less a $25 processing fee.
  • All class transfer requests must be received five business days prior to class and are subject to CRWA approval. Transfers will only be valid within the same calendar year.
