FREE Workforce Development – PFAS, Emerging Contaminants, & Sampling

California Rural Water Association (CRWA) is offering a PFAS, Emerging Contaminants, and Sampling class in Dunsmuir, CA. PFAS/Emerging Contaminants:
At the end of the course, you should be able to:
•Explain the reason that contaminants of emerging concern are a concern.
•Describe the sources of contaminants of emerging concern in the environment and wastewater influents.
•Identify contaminants of emerging concern in wastewater influents and effluents
•Describe the methods that are used to treat contaminants of emerging concern in wastewater treatment plants.
Sampling Portion:
This course will cover both class A & B sampling procedures. The emphasis will be on appropriate sampling procedures as well as record keeping and reporting.

  • Cancellations must be received by CRWA in writing five business days prior to the event to qualify for a refund.
  • Cancellations received within this time frame, will be subject to a refund less a $25 processing fee.
  • All class transfer requests must be received five business days prior to class and are subject to CRWA approval. Transfers will only be valid within the same calendar year.
