Backflow Assembly Tester Renewal Course

CRWA Academy of Water Education offers this two-day Backflow Assembly Tester Renewal course. This two-day course is designed for currently Certified Backflow Assembly Testers to update and reinforce their proper testing procedures and failure diagnosis skills. Industry standards recommend updating or renewing a class every two to three years. Backflow prevention and cross-connection topics are presented to keep the tester current on industry changes. A safety discussion is an important reminder when working in the field for issues such as confined space hazards. Hands-on practical exams and short quizzes are included.

We are proud to offer on-site testing with ABPA.
AWWA testing is no longer being held onsite at CRWA headquarters. If you would like to test with AWWA, please contact them directly.

Daily Class Schedule:

  • Sign In: 8:30 a.m.
  • Class: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Breakfast is available via pre-packaged options
  • Lunch is from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. (on your own)
Backflow Assembly Tester

General Information:

  • A confirmation will be EMAILED to you WITH INSTRUCTIONS, please make sure your email address is valid.
  • All registrants who have registered and paid for the class will receive their certificates within two weeks of the class date.
  • Cancellations must be received by CRWA in writing five business days prior to the event to qualify for a refund.
  • Cancellations received within this time frame, will be subject to a refund less a $25 processing fee.
  • All class transfer requests must be received five business days prior to class and are subject to CRWA approval. Transfers will only be valid within the same calendar year.
