It has come to our attention that an organization un-affiliated with California Rural Water Association is targeting water systems throughout the State of California through email selling a “Membership Mailing List”.

California Rural Water Association has no association with this organization nor are they members. The email <example below> is a scam and should be blocked, deleted, or reported to your information technology department as a phishing scam.

California Rural Water Association will never sell membership information. We value our relationships that we have built over the years with water utilities and are here to support the rural, disadvantaged water utilities throughout California.
