Free Technical Assistance for Eligible Water and Wastewater Systems

California Rural Water Association (CRWA) offers a variety of no-cost services to eligible public water and wastewater systems across the state. These services are designed to support utility boards, management, and operations staff with practical, on-the-ground assistance.

CRWA’s expert field staff can help with:

  • Leak Detection using advanced equipment to improve water accountability and find hidden leaks.

  • MHI Studies to help systems challenge county-level income data and improve eligibility for grants and loans.

  • Customized Staff Training, including exam prep, SOP development, and hands-on instruction.

  • On-Site Course Trainings for groups of local systems on a range of operational topics.

  • Rate Studies and Prop 218 Support to help systems navigate rate-setting and compliance.

  • GIS Mapping to document system infrastructure.

  • Facility Assessments to troubleshoot operational issues and recommend improvements.
