The Cross Connection Control Policy Handbook (CCCPH) a comprehensive guide designed to prevent the contamination of potable water systems. It is a vital resource for water utilities, municipalities, and other organizations tasked with ensuring the safety of the public water supply.

The CCCPH replaces existing regulations (title 17) with new requirements for the purposes of improving cross-connection control and thereby protecting public health. The primary focus of the handbook is to provide guidelines for identifying, preventing, and managing cross-connections—situations where the potable water supply is at risk of being contaminated by non-potable sources.
