Get More from Your CRWA Associate Membership

Connect. Engage. Be Seen. Make Your Membership Work for You.

By Candice Jackson, Membership Services Manager

As a California Rural Water Association (CRWA) Associate Member, you’re already part of a valuable network connecting businesses and industry partners with California’s water and wastewater professionals. But are you taking full advantage of everything your membership has to offer?

Your Associate Membership is more than having your company name on a membership list. It’s an opportunity to build relationships, increase your organization’s visibility, share your expertise, and stay connected with the people and communities CRWA serves throughout California.

5 Ways to Maximize Your Associate Membership

1. Show Up and Make Connections

CRWA conferences, expos, training events, and other activities provide excellent opportunities to connect face-to-face with water and wastewater professionals. Make the most of these events by introducing your team, learning about the challenges systems are facing, and building relationships that extend beyond the exhibit hall.

2. Keep Your Company Visible

Take advantage of opportunities to promote your organization through CRWA publications, advertising, sponsorships, exhibitor opportunities, and other member resources. Consistent visibility helps ensure that when a system needs a product, service, or solution you provide, your company is already familiar to them.

3. Keep Your Membership Information Current

Has your contact information changed? Are there new products or services you want members to know about? Keeping your company profile and contact information up to date makes it easier for CRWA and its members to connect with the right person at your organization.

4. Share Your Knowledge

Associate Members bring tremendous experience and expertise to the CRWA community. Look for opportunities to educate, collaborate, and share information that can help water and wastewater professionals address operational challenges, evaluate new technologies, and identify solutions for their systems.

5. Stay Engaged All Year Long

Don’t wait until the next conference to reconnect. Read CRWA communications, follow upcoming events and training opportunities, explore sponsorship and advertising opportunities, and stay involved throughout the year. The more engaged you are, the more opportunities you create to strengthen relationships within the CRWA community.

Let’s Make This a Great Year Together

CRWA greatly appreciates the continued support and partnership of our Associate Members. Your involvement helps strengthen our association and supports our mission of providing resources, training, technical assistance, and support to California’s rural and small water and wastewater systems.

This year, we encourage you to take another look at your Associate Membership and ask: Are we making the most of every opportunity to connect, participate, and be seen?

Whether it’s exhibiting at an upcoming event, increasing your company’s visibility, updating your information, or simply making a new connection, now is a great time to get more involved.

You’re already a CRWA Associate Member—now make your membership work even harder for you.
